The new look 2010 Toyota Landcruiser Prado has hit the showroom floors, the car has been reworked in almost every area from the ground up including the V6 engine. Toyota Australia is claiming better fuel economy, and a greater level of refinement. The price for the upgrades is an extra 150KGs  in weight and the base price is over the $55,000 mark. The top of the line Kakadu attracts the luxury car tax and sits at $88990.00 – ouch! So the new Prado is longer, lower and wider then the previous model, the off road ability of the new model by all reports is fantastic and much improved over the previous generation. The petrol engine with 202 kW has more of everything than earlier model, the diesel version by all accounts does not handle the extra weight as well as the petrol engine.
